LEWIS AND CLARK - THE ARIZONA CONNECTION
Presenting the successes and perils of the Corps of Discovery as they journeyed to the Pacific, Todd Weber, wearing period clothing, recounts this epic two and a half year expedition of 1804. A large, detailed map, and his collection of the tools, arms and accouterments that would have accompanied the corps, make for a captivating and visually rich presentation.  He includes the little known history of Sacagawea's son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, who went on to become one of the most interesting and foremost figures in early Arizona history. An educational and entertaining experience for elementary age through senior that will create a better understanding of what the Corps took and used on their journey, and also how history is inner connected through various people and places.

PAULINE WEAVER AND THE MOUNTAIN  MEN OF THE WEST
Clad in buckskins, and displaying his extensive collection of items of the fur trade era, Todd Weber shares the life and times of Pauline Weaver, one of Prescott, Arizona's first white settlers. In addition, fascinating stories of other colorful mountain men, along with demonstrations of the tools of the trade, make this presentation enjoyable to all ages. HISTORY OF THE RIVER RUNNERS OF THE GRAND CANYON
Using a visually rich and colorful powerpoint presentation, Todd Weber, dressed as J.W. Powell, carries his listeners along a historical timeline. Beginning with a Hopi legend, he takes his audience through the years of  human history in the Grand Canyon to the river- runners of today. He recounts the fascinating experiences of those who have been drawn to the wonders and adventures of the Colorado River as it weaves its' way through the Canyon. Highlighted by tales of the John Wesley Powell expedition, the ambitions of industrialists and the mystery of the Hydes disappearance, Todd uncovers the centuries of human history buried in the austere and beautiful walls below the rim. The audience comes away with new insight into the  many fascinating people who have braved the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, and the many and varied reasons they had for doing so. A wonderfully visual and  educational experience for elementary age and up.

DEAR EMMA
Surrounded by trunks and cargo, Todd Weber, seated at a small camp desk, presents a Chautauqua of John Wesley Powell writing a letter, by candlelight,  to his wife, Emma, the night before embarking on his 1869 journey of exploration into the "Great Unknown".  Preparing to face the perils and the mysteries of the Grand Canyon, he contemplates aloud what may lie ahead, the colorful crew members accompanying him, and his thoughts of when he will see her again. Insightful and entertaining, this presentation puts the listener into the mind of a man who is both  anticipating and fearing what he is facing. It helps one to imagine what it may feel like upon entering uncharted lands, and to appreciate the bravery and fortitude of  those who have. For upper elementary age and older.
